Russia plans to raise taxes on migrants
The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia has submitted a proposal to the State Duma to levy a 30% income tax on migrants working on a patent basis. The party leader claims that this measure will increase budget revenues and contribute to the development of regions. If the proposal is adopted, the tax burden on migrants will double.
