Turkey approves 40 life sentences for Masharipov
The Turkish Supreme Court has upheld the 2020 conviction of Abdulkadir Masharipov, who killed 39 people at the Reina nightclub in Istanbul in 2017. He was sentenced to 40 life sentences and 1,368 years in prison on each count.
