In Tel Aviv, 30-year-old Moroccan Abdulaziz Kaddi attacked Jews with a knife, wounding several. Abdulaziz himself was killed at the scene.
Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital said one of the injured was stabbed multiple times in the neck and is in serious condition.
Israel's Channel 14 reported that one of those injured in the stabbing attack was a soldier whose hand was amputated during clashes in Gaza.
Israel's Shin Bet domestic intelligence agency announced that Abdulaziz Kaddi, who carried out the Tel Aviv attack, was questioned upon entering Israel, underwent additional security checks, and was eventually allowed to enter Israel due to the lack of information that would prevent him.
The Jewish press, however, pointed to Abdulaziz's Facebook posts about Palestine and accused the Shin Bet of not doing enough research .
Hamas welcomes Tel Aviv attack
"We applaud the knife attack by the Moroccan hero in Tel Aviv . This incident proves once again that as long as the occupation and its aggression continue, the wave of resistance will not stop and will only grow stronger."
" This operation is a meaningful message that comes as a natural response to the dozens of martyrs and wounded during the occupation forces' attacks on Jenin, expressing that blood is for blood and that the resistance will deal a deep blow to the structure it has taken over with all its might."
