Accordingly, the first day of Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan is expected to fall on Friday, June 6. In turn, the Day of Arafah will be celebrated on Thursday, June 5. According to the Hijri calendar, Eid al-Adha begins on the 10th day of Zulhijjah after the Fajr prayer and continues until the Asr prayer on the 13th day.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, on June 16, metro and buses in Tashkent will start working at 03:00 and provide free service to passengers until 10:00.

On June 16, 121 mosques in Tashkent will perform Eid prayers. From 00:00 to 07:00, the movement of motor vehicles will be completely restricted on some streets and roads.

The Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan has announced Eid al-Adha prayer times in the regions.

A new moon - Dhul-Hijja crescent was seen in Hariyq region. The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia announced the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, 1445 AH, on Friday, June 7. The 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, the first day of Eid al-Adha, falls on June 16.
