It is noted that the "Cycle Sighting Committee" in Afghanistan reported that the Zulhijjah moon was not sighted in any province on May 28. Representatives of the population also did not testify to the Sharia courts about seeing this moon. Based on this, the Afghan government declared May 28 to be the last day of the Zulqada month and set June 7 as Eid al-Adha.
For your information, the first day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah falls on May 28 in Saudi Arabia. Eid al-Adha, one of the two major Muslim holidays, is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah. The Fatwa Center under the Muslim Office of Uzbekistan announced that Eid al-Adha will fall on June 6.
