Kazakhstan has announced that it will remove the Taliban from the list of banned organizations in the country.

Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy head of the successful government of Afghanistan, said in a meeting with the OIC special representative in Kabul that suffering is widespread in the Islamic world, and Muslim countries should cooperate to solve the problems.

The leadership of the Taliban participated in the 15th summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia. OIC sent an official invitation to the Taliban administration to participate in the summit.

The Taliban delegation had to fly from Moscow to Tatarstan to participate in the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: Kaznforum" in Kazan. However, the delegation's visit was delayed due to a drone strike in the morning.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice informed President Vladimir Putin that the Taliban may be removed from the list of banned organizations. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Afghan Taliban are not enemies of Russia at the moment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban welcomed the relevant statement of the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokaev, and noted that this step of Astana has achieved success in understanding the situation in Afghanistan and that the obstacles to bringing bilateral relations, in particular, economic cooperation to a new level, have been removed.
