Democratic member of the US House of Representatives, Rashida Tlaib, accused the United States of complicity in genocide.

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the Palestine Red Crescent Society are calling on the international community to take decisive action against Israel in the wake of the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. According to UNRWA, many families in Gaza are forced to survive on just one meal a day. Some are eating foods that are dangerous to eat.

The US government has revoked the visas of five more students for their support for Gaza. Harvard University said it had no information about the reasons for the revocation of the graduate students' visas.

On March 18, Israeli warplanes continued their relentless bombardment of Gaza, killing more than 800 Palestinians in a matter of days. Israeli police raided the largest Palestinian bookstore in occupied East Jerusalem, "Ma'rifi," arresting its owners and confiscating hundreds of books.

The decision was made as part of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which stipulates that prisoners who are required to leave Palestine will be sent to Turkey.

Hamas has released a third group of Israeli prisoners of war in the Gaza Strip. The freed prisoners include two women and one man as part of a swap deal with Tel Aviv.
