Arab states accept Egyptian plan for Gaza reconstruction
An extraordinary Arab summit was held yesterday, March 4, under the chairmanship of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at the request of the State of Palestine. The summit participants unanimously adopted the Gaza reconstruction plan and final declaration prepared by Egypt.
Presidential spokesman Mohammed Shennavi said that during the summit, Arab leaders discussed ways to support the Palestinians. They categorically rejected the desire of the occupiers to expel the Palestinians from their land or to eliminate Palestine.
The summit also discussed and approved Egypt's plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip without displacing its population.
