Nearly 10 million worshippers prayed at the Prophet's Mosque in the first ten days of Ramadan

During the first ten days of Ramadan, 9,705,341 worshippers prayed in the Prophet's Mosque and its courtyards, the Saudi Arabian newspaper Al-Arabiya reported.

The General Directorate of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia has ensured a high level of service to pilgrims. It has also facilitated access to the mosque's galleries and placed guards in the main and secondary corridors, which has facilitated the free movement of pilgrims and worshippers.

Meanwhile, the Grand Mosque in Mecca is also receiving a record number of pilgrims. More than 2.5 million people prayed in and around the mosque during Friday prayers on March 3, 2024. This was one of the highest figures for the Hajj and Umrah season.
