25,000 new carpets were laid in the yard, roof and interior of the Nabawi Mosque in Madinah for the convenience of worshipers and pilgrims.
It was specially selected by experts for the holy mosque, and it is distinguished by its durability and softness. In addition, each rug is embedded with a chip that tracks its location , recording pick-up and transport times for cleaning, scenting, washing and sterilization.
For information, carpets use 115 tons of antiseptics and 30 tons (30 thousand liters) of aromatic substances every day , reports Global Village.
