The killing of an African Muslim does not affect the Ummah like the killing of Arabs - Kaballo
Ahmed Kaballo, director general of the African Stream news agency, sharply criticized the ongoing bloody conflict in Sudan and compared the international media's indifference to its coverage to the events in Gaza.
According to Caballo, the mass killings of Muslims in Africa do not affect the collective feelings of the ummah in the same way as the situations in Gaza or East Jerusalem. He described this indifference as an act that goes against the principles of humanity and solidarity of the Muslim ummah.
Armed clashes between the Sudanese army and the rapid response forces have intensified in recent weeks. Kaballo noted that the Sudanese people are trapped in an acute humanitarian crisis and are "forced to choose the lesser of two evils."
The conflict in Sudan poses serious human rights violations, civilian casualties, and threats to regional stability. The international community's lack of response remains a major challenge to the protection of human rights and the delivery of justice.
