The famous Palestinian-British doctor Ghassan Abu Sitta was not allowed to go to France, where he was supposed to appear in the parliament. Because of this, Germany imposed a one-year ban on entering Europe.

"I am at Charles de Gaulle airport. I was banned from entering France. They say that the Germans banned me from entering Europe for a year," wrote Abu Sitta X on the social network.

Earlier, on April 12, Ghassan Abu Sitta, the newly appointed chancellor of the University of Glasgow, was denied entry to Germany when he was due to speak at a canceled conference in Berlin on the plight of medical workers in Gaza.
