In a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev criticized the attitude of Western countries towards Palestine.

The President noted that more than 40,000 people, especially women and children, are dying in the war that has been going on for 8 months.

"We are very worried about the reaction of Western countries to this tragedy. There are double standards in practice," the president said.

Mirziyoyev said that the leading developed countries that widely promote and protect democracy and human rights turn a blind eye to murders and atrocities.

Shavkat Mirziyoev said that in order to achieve stable and long-term peace, it is necessary to establish an independent and free Palestinian state.
