At a time when Islamic values are banned in predominantly Muslim countries, MMA fighter Jeff Monson became a Muslim after being influenced by the beautiful customs of Islam. His conversion to Islam took place yesterday, June 20, in Moscow. The well-known political scientist Sergey Markov announced this on his Telegram channel.

In the released videos, the American MMA fighter uttered the word of martyrdom in the presence of many people. The reception dedicated to the conversion of the famous athlete to Islam coincided with Eid al-Adha. Before giving his testimony, Monson explained why he made that decision. He stated that the fighter searched for God all his life, traveled a lot, studied various religious teachings before getting acquainted with Islam. This religion impressed him with deep moral values.

"I was struck by the fact that we should do good to everyone, not just to those who need help. In Islam, it is said that people should take care of their families, young children, and at the same time themselves, and Muslims should support each other. Islam has changed my attitude towards life. And my whole life. I decided to devote myself to this religion," said the athlete.

He also expressed his admiration for the endurance of the Palestinian people, who are not broken despite many sufferings and difficulties.

For information, Monson moved to Russia from the United States about 10 years ago. He has been a citizen of Russia since 2018.
