The UN General Assembly adopted 5 resolutions supporting Palestine
The UN General Assembly unanimously passed five resolutions in support of Palestine. Anadolu reports this with reference to the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
168 countries voted in favor of a resolution to aid Palestinian refugees . Only Israel opposed. The United States, Uruguay and Paraguay and 10 other countries abstained from the vote.
The resolution on the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) was supported by 165 countries. Four countries (USA, Canada, Israel and Micronesia) opposed, 6 countries (Cameroon, Guatemala, Kiribati, Palau, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu) abstained.
The resolution regarding Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories was supported by 149 countries. The United States, Canada, Israel, Hungary, Micronesia and Nauru voted against, while 19 other countries abstained from the vote.
163 countries voted in favor of the resolution on the property and income of Palestinian refugees ; USA, Canada, Israel, Micronesia and Nauru voted against, 9 countries chose abstention.
The resolution on the activities of the special committee to investigate Israel's violations against the population of the occupied Palestinian territories was supported by 86 countries. The United States, Great Britain, Israel, Canada, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Australia voted against, while 75 countries abstained.
