Companies and countries that supply energy carriers to Israel can be accused of complicity in war crimes in Gaza. Among them are Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Albania and other countries.

Arab News writes that countries and companies that supply energy to Israel may be complicit in war crimes in Gaza.

Experts from Oil Change International came to this conclusion in their report "In the Shadow of the Barrel: A New Look at Israel's Fuel Supply Countries and Companies."

The authors of the report cited the decisions of the International Court of Justice, which stated that Israel may be involved in the crime of genocide, and that the occupation of Palestinian lands is illegal under international law.

According to the study, 65 tankers loaded with oil and petroleum products have entered Israel since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, 35 of which were sent on January 26, 2024, after the International Court of Justice declared Israel's alleged involvement in the genocide.

Six companies - Chevron, BP, ExxonMobil, Shell, Eni and TotalEnergies - account for more than 66 percent of hydrocarbons exported to Israel.

The authors of the report mentioned Kazakhstan, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Albania and the European Union among the countries supplying Tel Aviv with energy.

Analysts also noted the decision by Colombia, which supplies more than half of Israel's coal consumption, to stop supplying it with the fuel.
