380 families returned to the liberated city of Fuzuliy of Azerbaijan
Another group of 94 people went to the liberated city.
On December 18, Monday, a group of displaced people from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, left for the city of Fuzuli, which was liberated from Armenian occupation. Anadolu reports about this.
It is noted that at this stage, another 22 families - 94 people - are moving to Fizuli.
Thus, permanent residence of 380 families or 1392 people will be ensured in the city. Families relocated to Fizuli will settle in newly built houses .
For information, from August 23, 1993 to November 9 , 2020, the city of Fuzuli and a large part of the region were under Armenian occupation. During this time, Fuzuli became a ghost town.
On October 17 , 2020, during the Second Karabakh War, Fizuli returned to Azerbaijan's control. After the victory in the 44-day war, Azerbaijan began large-scale reconstruction and construction in the liberated areas, including Fizuli .
It should be noted that Uzbekistan also contributed to the construction and restoration process in Fuzuli. For example, on August 22 of this year, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his wife Ziroatkhan Mirziyoeva, as well as the President of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliyev and his wife Mehribon Aliyeva participated in the opening ceremony of the 1st general education school named after Mirzo Ulugbek, established by Uzbekistan in Fizuli.
