"Hazrat Ali was standing on a high roof. An ignorant person came and asked: "Will God protect you?" he asked. Hazrat Ali said: "Certainly." "In that case," said another man, "throw yourself off the roof saying that God will protect me."

We need sufficient knowledge based on the Qur'an and Sunnah to distinguish between friend and enemy. As in any battle, fighting the devil requires a powerful weapon and skill in its use. A powerful weapon for a Muslim is faith and trust. The skill of using it is knowledge and persistence. Our strength is our courage, enthusiasm and determination.

What is temptation? Panic, doubts, hesitations and probabilities that have no basis, no connection with reality, that lead a person to bad, useless thoughts and actions. It takes us under control, and the worst, directs us to actions that are not allowed in religion.
