Turkey's first national and domestic satellite, Türksat 6A, was successfully launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA, using SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket carrier. With the help of Türksat 6A, the number of people on earth that will be served by Turkish satellites will increase from 3.5 billion to 5 billion people.

Turkish countries plan to form a special group of engineers to develop a joint small CubeSat satellite. This team carries out its activities in the research center in Kazakhstan.

China plans to launch more than 300 satellites into space in 2024. 30 out of 100 launches are carried out by private companies.

Selcuk Bayraktar Fergani, chairman of the board of the Turkish aerospace company Baykar Yönetim, announced that the first satellite will be launched into space in 2024 as part of the Fergani Uzay (Ferghani Space) project.
