"This is just a project. The document is at an early stage and is being developed within the party itself. The Center for Educational Research is a non-governmental non-profit organization and does not have the right to initiate legislation. That is, the document does not currently have the status of a draft law and has not been submitted to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. "When the development of the document is completed and a conclusion is obtained, it can be submitted to the Legislative Chamber," the party noted.

"National revival" considers this issue "a big deal" for Uzbekistan. "It's relevant because we have a lot of people traveling abroad and there's a lot of material [on the subject] on the Internet. If children's minds are not protected from negative consequences now, then there is no way to do it. Everything is related to human and children's rights," said the representative of the party.

In June 2021, Alisher Kadyrov proposed to expel members of the LGBT community from the country. In December 2022, it became known that it is planned to ban mass media, sites and bloggers from "promoting unnatural relations between the same sexes" in Uzbekistan. This phrase comes from the draft Information Code, which is proposed to consolidate 8 laws in the field.
