Alisher Kadyrov reacted to the fact that the Russian Foreign Ministry requested an "official explanation" from Uzbekistan regarding the beating of a student by a teacher in Tashkent. "It would be right for them to deal with their own problems, which are full of problems, until they think about our internal affairs," said the chairman of the National Restoration Party.

Alisher Kadyrov, Chairman of the National Revival Party, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber, reacted to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, which requested an "official explanation" from Uzbekistan regarding the beating of a student at a school in Tashkent, Gazeta.uz reported.

According to him, the right of the child was violated in the school of Uzbekistan, against the child of the citizen of Uzbekistan, and the measures will be taken on the basis of the laws adopted on behalf of the people of Uzbekistan.

"It would be right for them to deal with their own problems, full of problems, before they bother about our internal affairs. "It seems that they came to the conclusion that there is no benefit from rioting in a flat place," says Kadyrov.

What happened?

On September 23, a video of a probationary teacher beating a student at school 188 in Chilonzor district of Tashkent city was circulated on social networks. The preschool and school education department of the city of Tashkent gave an official response to the situation.

In the video, it can be seen that the teacher hit the student and pushed him towards the blackboard after a conflicted conversation with the student who was holding a notebook in his hand. The teacher's beating of the boy continued after that and in the end he made the student sit down.

When the education department investigated the situation, it was found that the incident took place in the Russian language class of the 6th "V" class, studying in the second shift.

The boy's mother posted in a Facebook group that the teacher taught the lesson in Uzbek, and the student asked her to teach the Russian language lesson in Russian. The post has since been deleted.

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, answered the question of the journalist at the briefing held on September 25, and said that the department is closely monitoring this issue.

"The content of the video cannot fail to arouse extreme concern and sympathy for the child. We asked for an official explanation from Uzbekistan. "There is no room for any enmity, especially on the issue of language, in friendly relations between the two countries based on strategic partnership and alliance," he said.

"Consistent measures should be taken, including reminding the public of the beneficial effect of the use of the Russian language in our centuries-old relations, mutual enrichment in cultural, educational, scientific and socio-economic terms," added Maria Zakharova.

He also "requested a legal assessment of the materials in the media and, if justified, immediate action against the person who committed violence against children."

Earlier, it was reported that the law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident. Children's ombudsman Surayyo Rahmonova also condemned this case. "Persons who engage in physical violence and inappropriate treatment of children in educational institutions should not only be released from their positions or duties, but should also be held accountable under the law in any case," he said.
