Umrah season starts from September 10
The center for the organization of "Hajj" and "Umra" events of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan announced that the Umrah season will begin on September 10. According to the Umrah program, pilgrims spend 3 days in Medina and 7 days in Mecca.
From September 10, 2024, the next season of "Umra - 2024" organized by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan and the Committee on Religious Affairs will begin. Uzbeks will be taken to Saudi Arabia on direct flights through Uzbekistan Airways JSC.
Our pilgrims will spend 3 days in Medina and 7 days in Makkah. During the season, our compatriots will be accompanied by an experienced working group, elders consisting of imams and qualified doctors.
Our compatriots live in the hotels "Grand Shahba" in Medina, and "Marmara Group Hotel" in Makkah. Hotels have 3-4 beds, 3 meals, dessert and fresh fruits are served.
It was announced that pilgrimages to holy shrines will be organized in these cities. Medical centers, transport service and staffs of working groups operate 24 hours a day in hotels .
It should be noted that citizens can go on Umrah trip through private travel agencies or independently.

According to the new law signed by the President, the organization and holding of Umrah events in Uzbekistan is now defined as a separate type of licensed activity. Entrepreneurs who do not fulfill the requirements of this law will be fined in the amount of 200 times the BHM (currently - 68 million soums). Also, a state fee of 10 times BHM (3.4 million soums) for obtaining a license is paid to the Committee on Religious Affairs, which is designated as the competent body in this field.
