Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Vice President of Turkey
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation led by the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Javdat Yilmaz, who came to our country to participate in the third Tashkent International Investment Forum.
At the beginning of the conversation, Javdat Yilmaz conveyed the greetings and good wishes of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to the head of state.
At the meeting, urgent issues of further expansion of comprehensive strategic partnership relations and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey were discussed.
It was also noted with great satisfaction that active dialogues continue at all levels. The volume of trade, the number of joint projects and enterprises, and direct flights are increasing.
Major investment projects are being implemented in energy, mining, food, textile and other priority sectors with the participation of leading Turkish companies.
Special attention was paid to the preparation of the agenda of the next meeting of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council, first of all, to the formation of a new portfolio of cooperation projects and a cultural-humanitarian exchange program.
The Vice President of Turkey held separate talks with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, the Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kochkarov and the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narboeva.
