Shavkat Mirziyoyev Pays Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to the UAE from January 13 to 16, 2025, at the invitation of President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the visit, a number of meetings and events are planned in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. President Mirziyoyev will hold bilateral talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the capital of the Emirates. Meetings will also be held with the heads of the country's leading companies and banks, and the head of state will participate in the international summit "Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week".

In Dubai, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to hold talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, of the United Arab Emirates.

The agenda of the visit will include discussions on issues aimed at further strengthening friendship and multifaceted partnership between the two countries. Particular emphasis will be placed on expanding practical cooperation in the fields of investment, "green" energy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative development, infrastructure and tourism. Intensification of cultural and humanitarian ties will also be one of the priority areas.

Current aspects of international and regional politics will also be discussed. At the end of the high-level talks, a set of important agreements aimed at wide-ranging cooperation is expected to be signed.
