The Chargé d'affaires of the Kyrgyz Embassy was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan
The representative of the embassy, Melis Moldaliev, was informed of the deep concern of the Pakistani government about the news about the incidents involving Pakistani students studying in Kyrgyzstan. Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan called to take all measures to ensure the safety of Pakistani students and citizens living in Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz side appealed to the Pakistani side to not spread false information about the incident among the representatives of the Pakistani mass media.
On May 18, a protest was held near the Kyrgyz embassy in Islamabad in connection with the incident, Pakistani media reports.
