"Taliban" expressed its desire to participate in the 15th summit of the heads of states and governments of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which will be held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, on May 4-5. Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy head of the successful government of Afghanistan, said in a meeting with the OIC special representative in Kabul that suffering is widespread in the Islamic world, and Muslim countries should cooperate to solve the problems.
"Taliban" announced that it wants to send its representative to the 15th summit of heads of state and government held by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Gambia, Anadolu reports.
According to Afghan press reports, Deputy Head of the Interim Government of Afghanistan, Abdul Salam Hanafi , met with Tariq Ali Bakhit, Special Representative of OIC for Afghanistan in Kabul.
At the meeting, Hanafi said that suffering is widespread in the Islamic world, and that Muslim countries should cooperate to solve the problems.
Hanafi emphasized that he wants to develop good relations with OIC member states and expressed his desire to send his representative to the 15th Summit of Heads of State and Government of OIC , which will be hosted in Gambia.
The 15th summit of OIC heads of state and government will be held on May 4-5 in the capital, Banjul.
