The peace summit on Ukraine in Switzerland ended with the signing of the Burgenstock Declaration. The exact content of the final declaration has not been disclosed. However, Swiss President Viola Amherd responded to this question by saying that "food security must not be turned into a weapon under any circumstances, attacks on merchant ships, civilian ports and transit routes, all deported and illegally displaced Ukrainian children and other illegal detentions said that Ukrainians who were taken should be returned to their homeland. He also touched on the issue of ensuring the safety of atomic energy and nuclear facilities.
Deputies of the Swiss National Council voted against the proposal to recognize Palestine as a state. The text says that "the National Council does not want to recognize Palestine and therefore rejected the corresponding initiative put to the vote by Fabian Molina of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) from Zurich on Tuesday."
