The G7 countries have begun negotiations on the confiscation of Russia's frozen assets.

By the end of 2024, the leaders of the G7 countries reached an agreement to allocate $50 billion to Ukraine from the profits from Russia's frozen assets. This was reported by AFP with reference to the Elysée Palace.
