Azerbaijan's embassy in Iran, which was closed as a result of an armed attack on January 27, 2023, started working in a new address and a new building. It was reported that the Iranian side has taken appropriate measures to ensure diplomatic security in front of the new embassy building.

The Afghan embassy in Oman has resumed its activities. It is noted that the activities of the embassy are conducted by diplomats appointed by the Taliban. Currently, Afghan diplomatic missions operate in 39 countries of the world.
