Will the US "teach" Israel a lesson in aggression?
Israel, which is committing unprecedented crimes in Gaza, has begun a new campaign. The Zionist-fascist Defense Minister announced the launch of a new operation against the Palestinians, called "Gideon's Chariots", in which more than a hundred thousand soldiers have been involved in this war of aggression. The Palestinian resistance movement HAMAS, which is fighting for the liberation of its homeland, stated that responsibility for the genocide against the peaceful Muslim population lies not only with Israel, but also with the American Zionist government. This is not without reason, of course.
Washington is not only providing the occupation army with weapons and resources, but also serves as an "example" to the Zionists with its own history. How would you say?
The United States, with its roots in colonial history, has come a long way to becoming a superpower. But that path has also included the genocide of indigenous peoples and the violent conquest of land.
Today, the United States presents itself as a champion of democracy and freedom. But there is an indelible black page in its history - the genocide against the real American Indians.
Let's look at history: one of America's bloodiest crimes against Indians is the Sand Creek Massacre.
On November 29, 1864, a group of U.S. Army and volunteer soldiers (led by Colonel John Chivington) attacked Native American civilians along the Sand Creek River in Colorado. The area was populated primarily by women, children, and the elderly who had come to terms with the government. More than 200 Indians, mostly women and children, were killed that day. Their property was looted and their homes were burned.
In fact, the US government had previously forcibly removed hundreds of thousands of Indians from their lands. This went down in history as the "Trail of Tears." Many people died along the way from hunger, disease, and cold. Those who survived were resettled in inhospitable, coastal lands.
Buffaloes, the main food of the Hindus, were also hunted en masse, condemning the people to starvation.
In the 1980s, thousands of Hindu children were forcibly placed in boarding schools in an attempt to completely deprive them of their identity. Thousands of children died from harsh discipline and disease. The children were given new Christian names. This was cultural genocide.
If we look at the statistics, the scale of the various methods of extermination of Indians in the United States is simply terrifying. For comparison: in the early 1800s, the number of Indians in the United States was about one million. By the end of the 19th century, this figure had dropped sharply, to about 250,000-300,000.
Today, the United States is providing all-out support to Israel, which is destroying the original landowners in Palestine. According to the Statistics Office, Israel's gross domestic product decreased by 19.4% in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year. This dynamics is due to a 42.4% decrease in imports of goods and services and an 18.3% decrease in exports. At the same time, state spending increased by 88% due to military needs. It should be noted that the United States is the main supplier of Israel's military needs, and approximately 68% of the weapons in the hands of the occupation army are American "gifts". In fact, the supply of weapons by the United States to Israel is contrary to the laws of the country. Section 502 of the US Foreign Assistance Act prohibits the provision of assistance to governments that grossly violate human rights. Additionally, the State Department or Pentagon is prohibited from funding foreign entities that commit human rights abuses. While this law applies to many US allies, it somehow "doesn't work" against Israel.
Despite all its atrocities, the US government continues to condemn others. It labels those around the world who oppose its misdeeds as terrorists. It tries to hide the fact that the real terrorists and invaders are themselves.
