True independence is having weapons of one's own making.
Offensive and defensive weapons manufactured in the United States by Arab countries can never be used in situations not authorized by the United States.
Turkey first began its military independence by localizing the control programs for its F-16 fighter jets. It is not for nothing that it literally called this project the "Ozgur Project".
Among the Arab countries, none of them, armed to the teeth with high-tech US weapons, pose a threat to Israel.
If you pay attention, over the past 20 years, only countries armed with Russian-Soviet weapons have been attacked and destroyed by the US bloc. So far, Egypt is an exception.
In general, in the Islamic world, there are currently only Turkey, Pakistan, and Iran as fully independent military-political states.
Among them, Turkey has its own capabilities in the production of various types of high-tech weapons, Iran in ballistic missiles, and Pakistan in its nuclear arsenal.
On the global scale, Russia and China, as alternatives to the US bloc, have complete military independence. Of these, Russia has a declining military power, while China has a rising one.
While North Korea also has domestic weapons production, it relies more heavily on ballistic missiles, like Iran.
The most vulnerable aspect of the Islamic world's countries at the moment is their domestically produced air defense systems and high-tech aviation.
Turkey recently announced the full operation of its indigenous Iron Dome system. It has also launched production of KAAN 5th-generation aircraft. It has already supplemented its air fleet with indigenous drones and helicopters.
Pakistan and Iran are now likely to work on this system as well, as it has become clear that Russia's S-300 and S-400 systems are useless in Iran and India, except as a showroom.
Pakistan is covering up its vulnerabilities in exchange for Chinese technology.
As far as I know, Uzbekistan also uses Chinese technologies in its air defense system.
Therefore, in difficult times, when billions of dollars are being spent on concerts rather than asphalt, I wonder if we should not forget that national defense is the highest priority for independence and security.
