Woman who recruited Kyrgyz into Russian army 'pardoned'
Natalya Sekerina, an employee of the Russian House in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, has been released from pre-trial detention. She was detained by the Kyrgyz State Committee for National Security on charges of illegal recruitment into the Russian army.
According to the TASS news agency, the preventive measure for all defendants in the illegal recruitment case has been changed from pre-trial detention to house arrest.
The decision to release the defendants from house arrest was made after a meeting between the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchibek Tashiev, and the Russian ambassador, Sergey Vakunov.
For your information, Sergey Lapushkin, a press officer at the Osh City Hall, Viktor Vasilyev, an observer at the Regnum agency, and another unnamed person were also charged in the illegal recruitment case.
