Uzbekistan closely cooperates with the UAE and Israel in the investigation of the murder of the rabbi — MFA
Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed deep condolences to the Israeli ambassador Gideon Lustig on the occasion of the death of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan. Saidov said that Uzbekistan is cooperating with the authorities of the UAE and Israel in the investigation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador of Israel in Tashkent, Gideon Lustig, the press service of the Ministry reports.
It is noted that during the meeting, the minister expressed deep condolences to the ambassador in connection with the death of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan.
"The people of Uzbekistan have always been friendly to representatives of all religions and peoples. We have not and will not tolerate any form of nationalism. Terrorism and extremism have no borders and no nationality," said Bakhtiyor Saidov.
According to him, the Uzbek government is closely cooperating with the authorities of the UAE and Israel in the investigation process.
It should be noted that 28-year-old Rabbi Tzvi Kogan went missing in Dubai on November 21 and was later found dead.
The Ministry of Interior of the UAE arrested three citizens of Uzbekistan on suspicion of this crime. Two of them are 28 years old, one is 33 years old.
