The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov told the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov that it is important to follow the principle of non-interference in each other's internal affairs in order to strengthen mutual trust. Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation informed that an official explanation was requested from Uzbekistan regarding the beating of a student by a Russian language teacher at a school in Tashkent.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with his Russian counterpart in New York. The minister reported this on his Telegram channel.

In the message, it was noted that a detailed discussion was held on the current topics of strategic partnership, as well as preparation for future high and high-level events.

It was also emphasized at the meeting the importance of adhering to the principle of non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

"We have agreed to continue our constant communication in the spirit of union," the minister wrote.
