Turkey warned Israeli intelligence: There will be serious consequences
Following the news of Israel's plan to eliminate Hamas members living outside of Palestine, Turkey has announced that the illegal activities of Israeli intelligence units in the country will have serious consequences.
Earlier, the American newspaper Wall Street Journal wrote that the Israeli intelligence units are preparing assassination plans against Hamas members living in Lebanon, Turkey and Qatar.
Shin Bet (Shabak) Israel's counterintelligence service director Ronen Bar said in a video broadcast by Israel's state TV KAN that it is determined to kill Hamas leaders all over the world, including in Qatar, Turkey and Lebanon, no matter how many years pass.
Turkish intelligence sources said that based on international media reports that Hamas members living outside of Palestine were being targeted, as well as statements by Israeli officials on the matter, they had been given the necessary warnings that any action would have serious consequences.
Officials who talked to Anadolu Agency mentioned that various intelligence services had tried to conduct illegal activities in the territory of Turkey, and stressed that no service is allowed to carry out such operations.
