Noting that many people in Europe have come to know Islam after seeing what the Palestinians have gone through, Del Pozo continued:

"When they see Palestinians trying to return home despite all the attacks and fighting to live on their land even though they know they will be killed tomorrow, their inner questioning increases. They say, 'There is something spiritual here that I don't know about.' When there is a strong threat of death, a person tries to leave for a better place. But they stay and fight. Because of this, they see that there is a spiritual force beyond all the rules of logic. This is how they discover Islam."

Del Pozo also said that on November 24, the Holy Qur'an was recited and prayers were recited in the Jame Masjid for the Palestinians.
