The head of the Communication Department under the President of Turkey, Fahriddin Altun, noted that some countries that previously did not want to recognize Palestine today have a great contribution to it, along with Turkey's diplomatic initiatives, as well as reporters and journalists who are doing their job in the conditions of massacre and oppression.

Also, Fahriddin Altun acknowledged that Turkish reporters are setting an example in terms of journalism in conflict areas.

"The mass media, which have been working for a long time to restore trust in information in the society and continue to cover the truth, have important tasks. Let's not forget that disinformation, i.e. false information, is inherently cheap and low-quality. Real journalism is a valuable, skilled and hard-working product," said Fahriddin Altun.

The head of the Communications Department noted that journalists are risking their lives in regional and global crises, especially in order to publicize the brutality in Gaza.

In fact, today media and journalism have a special place in world geopolitics. This work carries great responsibility as well as an honor in its own right. In Palestine and other issues, journalists should be impartial and fair.
