The President of the Russian Federation came to Uzbekistan on a state visit

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin came to our country on a state visit on May 26.

The President of Russia was met by the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev at Tashkent International Airport.

In honor of the high-ranking guest, the national flags of the two countries were raised and the honor guard was lined up.

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the New Uzbekistan Park and laid a wreath at the base of the Independence Monument.

During a short tour of the complex, the high-ranking guest was informed about the content and specific aspects of this architectural ensemble.

The main events of the visit will take place today, May 27.

During the high-level talks, the leaders will consider issues of further development and deepening of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance relations between Uzbekistan and Russia.

It is planned to adopt a set of bilateral documents on the results of the summit. The presidents will also participate in the first meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia.
