The number of people acquitted by courts in Uzbekistan is decreasing

In January-June 2025, 204 people were acquitted and rehabilitated by courts in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the information service of the Supreme Court.

For comparison, in the first half of 2024, 465 people were acquitted. This number is 2.5 times more than in the first half of this year. According to statistics, 564 people were acquitted in the first six months of 2023, and 468 in the same period in 2022.

A total of 723 people were acquitted by the courts in 2024. This is the lowest figure in the last seven years.
