The European Union imposed sanctions on 3 companies of Uzbekistan
All three companies of Uzbekistan were included in the 14th package of sanctions of the European Union. Yeni Şafak newspaper reported about this, citing its sources.
It is noted that the restrictions included 116 other individuals and legal entities responsible for actions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
"Artek" children's camp, Kadyrov public fund, "Ural" airline and "Sovkomflot" are among the legal entities subject to restrictions.
The "black list" also includes companies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In particular, punitive measures were applied against Kazakhstan's Da Group 22, TOO Elem Group, Kyrgyz trading companies "Muller Markt", "ProffLab" and 3 Uzbekistan companies - Alfa Beta Creative LLC, GFK Logistics Asia LLC, Mvizion LLC.
In addition, the next sanctions package included:
- restrictions on 27 ships of Russia's so-called "shadow fleet" used to evade sanctions;
- prohibiting investments, providing goods, technologies and services to complete STG projects such as Arctic STG 2 and Murmansk STG;
- Prohibition of charter and private flights around the world ordered by individuals and legal entities from Russia to EU airlines;
- European companies selling military equipment to third countries should introduce mechanisms capable of identifying and assessing the risk of re-export to Russia and reducing them;
- Prohibition on the import of helium from Russia and the export of manganese ores, a number of plastics, rare earth elements and electronic components to Russia;
- Prohibition of EU political parties, non-governmental organizations and media companies receiving money from the Russian government;
- Measures on the financial messaging system of the Bank of Russia (the Russian analogue of SWIFT);
- ban on registration of certain types of intellectual property by Russians in Europe;
a ban on European companies demanding compensation for damages caused to them by Russian companies as a result of sanctions.
