Social assistance package introduced for Palestinians in Uzbekistan
️Palestinian citizens brought to Uzbekistan will be provided with constant care and social support.
By presidential decree, measures will be taken to recognize guests with disabling diseases as disabled, regardless of the duration of treatment prescribed by legislative acts.
For a period of two weeks, guests will be provided with a pension (in the amount of 820 thousand soums) for senior citizens who do not have the required work experience.
In addition, a monthly living allowance in the amount of minimum consumption expenses (669 thousand soums) will be introduced for each guest of working age (except for persons with disabilities of groups I and II).
Each family of guests will be reimbursed for the rental costs of housing at their place of residence. They will be paid a one-time allowance upon the birth of a child (811,965 soums) and a funeral allowance (1,712,000 soums) in the amount established for citizens of Uzbekistan.
Each family of guests will also be paid a one-time allowance to purchase basic necessities (a set of non-food items used by the family).
A social worker will be assigned to each neighborhood to provide personal accompaniment and individual support to Palestinian family members, as well as to meet their needs and individual requirements.
In addition, children of Palestinians brought to Uzbekistan will be placed in state kindergartens and schools without waiting lists at their place of residence, and their adaptation will be monitored continuously. Additional education costs will be covered 100% by the state. They will not be charged kindergarten fees until January 1, 2028.
