Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Azerbaijan

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to the country from July 2 to 4 at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the presidential press service reported.

According to the visit program, the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council and other high-level events will be held in Baku on July 2-3.

Issues of further strengthening the relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and expanding cooperation and exchanges in priority areas of cooperation will be considered.

The President of Uzbekistan will participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the city of Khokandi on July 4 and hold a number of bilateral meetings.
