Sardor Umurzakov met with King Abdullah II of Jordan



A delegation led by Sardor Umurzakov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan, met with King Abdullah II in Jordan.

According to the Committee for Religious Affairs, during the meeting, Umurzakov expressed gratitude to King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein for the warm welcome. He acknowledged that a new era has begun in cooperation between Uzbekistan and Jordan.

In turn, King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein highly appreciated the strong friendship between Jordan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing the need to continue cooperation and exploit existing growth opportunities, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, healthcare, education, and tourism.

The report notes that the meeting also discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

The delegation also met with Prince Amir Ghazi, the King's Chief Advisor on Religious and Cultural Affairs, Muhammad al-Halayala, Minister of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, Ahmed al-Hasanot, Grand Mufti of Jordan, and Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, throughout the day.
