Man who insulted Mirziyoyev detained in Azerbaijan

A person who insulted the President of Uzbekistan on social media has been detained in Azerbaijan, the Agency reported.

It is noted that A. Yusupov was put on the international wanted list on charges of insulting the honor and dignity of the President of Uzbekistan. In April of this year, he was identified and arrested in Azerbaijan, and a preventive measure of detention was applied to him.

It was also transferred to the authorized body of the Republic of Uzbekistan, accompanied by special convoys of the Ministry of Justice, on the basis of the Convention "On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters", signed on October 7, 2002.
