Germany plans to deport Afghan refugees to Uzbekistan. This was reported by "Spiegel" magazine based on its sources.

According to the publication, Afghans can be transported from Tashkent to Kabul through the Kam Air private airline.

At the end of May, by the order of the head of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nancy Feser, the German delegation came to Tashkent and held talks with the Uzbek government on the relevant plan. After that, the Germans announced that the negotiations were successful and the Uzbek government promised to help.

This indicates that the German government wants to return Afghans who do not have the right to receive refugee status without direct agreements with the Taliban, the report said.

The Uzbek side has not yet given any official information about it.

For reference, the need to deport illegal immigrants in Germany was back on the agenda after an Afghan national attacked a rally of an anti-Islam organization in Mannheim at the end of May.

About 13,000 Afghans currently living in Germany may be forced to return to their homeland.
