Foreign Ministry urges Uzbeks in Los Angeles not to protest

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported that there is no information about the participation of Uzbeks among the protesters in Los Angeles (USA).

The ministry called on compatriots in the United States to "strictly abide by the current laws and regulations of this country and refrain from participating in any mass demonstrations that may disrupt peace and security."

It is emphasized that the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan will continue to protect the rights and interests of citizens abroad. If necessary, our citizens can contact our Embassy and Consulate General in the United States.

Recall that the protests in Los Angeles began in response to immigration raids.
