China is trying to justify its genocidal policy in East Turkestan
China has launched a large-scale propaganda campaign called "Ten Thousand Kilometers Along the Border" under the pretext of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region."
Tengri Tag reported that as part of this campaign, more than 50 Chinese journalists set off from the Khorgos border crossing and traveled along the borders of East Turkestan. The aim of the campaign is to create fake materials at checkpoints and border crossings that would show local residents' approval of the government.
China is using this anniversary date to justify its occupation and genocidal policies against the Uyghurs through the media. In particular, official Beijing is focusing on strengthening border control and increasing its military presence.
