Ahmad al-Shar' left for Azerbaijan

Today, July 12, Syrian President Ahmed al-Shar' left for an official visit to Azerbaijan, SANA reported.

Al-Shar's visit is expected to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and open up new opportunities for cooperation in various fields.

During his visit to Baku, the Syrian leader will hold a series of high-level meetings with the Azerbaijani leadership.

The agenda of the negotiations includes regional security, economic partnership, cultural exchange, and other pressing issues of mutual interest.
