A work belonging to Ali Kushchi's son was presented to Uzbekistan
The Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan has enriched its book treasury with another valuable work. A facsimile copy of the work "Ravnaq-ul-bo'ston" by Qazi Abdurakhmon, son of the great astronomer and mathematician Ali Kushchi, was brought to the center.
According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, the work was presented by Emek Ushenmez, a professor at Istanbul University. The original copy of the work is kept in the famous Hagia Sophia Library in Istanbul.
"Ravnaq-ul boʻston" is dedicated to gardening and the care of fruit trees, and it provides valuable recommendations on the cultivation, storage, and care of seedlings. The work may also have a special place in the field of modern agronomy.
Currently, the work is being translated into Uzbek by Uzbek scientists. It is expected that this work will have high scientific and practical significance in the development of horticultural traditions in our country.
This work is being recognized as an important step in studying the scientific heritage of the Islamic world and passing it on to future generations.
