A Saudi Arabian company will build a pharmaceutical plant in Tashkent region
Saudi Arabia 's Jamjoom Pharma company will build a pharmaceutical plant in the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster in the Tashkent region.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan , the new enterprise will be built under the condition of direct investment and is planned to be launched in the third quarter of 2025.
During the visit of the delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev to Saudi Arabia, a dialogue was held with the Chairman of Jamjoom Pharma Company Mahmoud Jamjum. According to the results of the meeting, a cooperation agreement on this project was signed.
Also, the issues related to the registration of 30 types of medicines produced by the company in the territory of Uzbekistan were discussed.
In the summer of 2024, Saudi Arabian companies announced plans to build modern hospitals in the cities of Ferghana and Nurafshan, as well as to introduce a modern management system in regional branches of oncology centers in Uzbekistan.
